Big Bay Getaway at the beach offers you an experience that none of our other homes can. Starting with the very well maintained black top driveway that leads you to a beautiful custom built 3,500 square foot home with magnificent views of the lake and large sandy beach in front of the home.
Boat lift will be offered for an extra $75 fee per day with a $200 refundable security deposit. There is also a jet ski lift the owners will offer for $50 fee per night with a $100 security deposit.
Pets are allowed at a fee of $50 per night and a $100 refundable security deposit. There will be an additional $50 non refundable pet fee deposit.
Lake Petenwell is the 2nd largest inland lake in Wisconsin with 23,000 acres, featuring excellent boating, swimming and fishing. Explore and take in nature at the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge with visitor center, walking paths, lookout towers and bicycling this 44,000 acre park. Only 10 minutes to Nekoosa HoChunk casino, 15 minutes to the WI Rapids, and 45 minutes to the Wisconsin Dells attractions for a full day of activities for the kids. Or take a day trip to Spring Green, Frank Lloyd Wright center, and the House on the Rock. Relaxation or water-front activities ... the choice is yours!
BOATS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT ALL ON BEACH AREA. THEY ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO LOAD AND UNLOAD PEOPLE. KAYAKS AND OTHER WATER SPORTS TOYS ARE NOT ALLOWED OVERNIGHT ON BEACH AREA AT ALL!

Cancellation PolicyTravelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund. If payment was paid via credit card, payment will be refunded minus the processing fee. |

Despite not having everyone join us due to Covid, we did have a nice time, and may rebook in the future. Since recycling was required, we did so. However, it appeared the dumpster was only for garbage, so we ended up taking all recyclables home so we wouldn't jeopardize not getting our security deposit returned. Thank you.

Very nice home with a great location. Enough space for all of us. My family totally enjoyed themselves. We made some memories here! A couple of minors dealt with the deck. It was large and was where we converged mainly, but we had to use some folding camp chairs and nothing for dining outside on the deck either. The picnic table was child size. The fire pit had ample seating and we enjoyed it. Keeping this location for future use.
